Mr. Yallamanchili Satyanarayana Chowdary, the president of the alumni association, passed out from CBIT in 1984 after graduating in mechanical engineering. He did his masters in machine tools in 1985 from PGS College of Engineering, Coimbatore. Mr. Chowdary is the promoter director of Sujana group of Companies, which include public ltd. companies like Sujana Steels Ltd. and Padmini Steel Corp. Ltd. all profit making and dividend paying companies. He is the Chairman and Managing Director of Sujana Industries Ltd., which is the flagship company of the Sujana Group.

Mr. C. Shekar Reddy, the secretary of the Alumni Association, passed out of CBIT in 1983 with distinction in civil engineering. He has served on many committees and projects related to the building industry, established by the Andhra Pradesh Government. He is a member of various boards like the National Council for Cement and Building Materials (a Govt. of India organisation), Indian Concrete Industry etc. He has been the President of the Builders Forum of Andhra Pradesh since 1997 till date. Mr. Shekar Reddy is the Chairman of CSR Estates Ltd., a well known, reliable and profit making construction company.

Shri Rama Krishna Reddy graduated from C.B.I.T in 1984, to specialize in Machines Tool Engineering. His love for the Institution inspired him to join C.B.I.T after a long innings at MJCE. Mr. Rama Krishna Reddy has a broad and far reaching vision, practical exposure and expertise with innate leadership qualities evident right from his college days. He is instrumental in gathering all the Alumni together and responsible for the sustained growth of the Alumni network. As a Placement Officer of C.B.I.T, Mr .Rama Krishna Reddy has created wonderful avenues for the students and given a fresh lease of life to the Placement Cell

Shri Chenna Keshava Rao graduated from C.B.I.T in 1986 to complete his Masters in Production Technology. Mr. Chennakeswara Rao is in the process of researching for his Ph.D program in the area of Machinability of Metal Matrix Composites. He is the Founder Joint Secretary and Treasurer of the Alumni. He is actively involved in the development programs of the college. Mr. Chennakeswara Rao is also in -charge of Examinations Branch.

Member
Shri Suryanarayana graduated from C.B.I.T. in 1985 to complete his post-graduation in Engineering and a degree in Law. Since 1986, he has been working as a faculty with Dept. of Mechanical Engineering after a year's stint with the Andhra Pradesh Government. At present, he occupies the position of Associate Professor in the Mech. Engg. Department in C.B.I.T. Being the Secretary-cum-Treasurer of the local ISTE chapter, Mr. Suryanarayana is actively involved in its activities. As he is acquainted with CBIT both as an alumnus and a faculty, he serves as a link between the Institute and its outgoing students. He has keen interest and enthusiasm towards developing the Alumni Association, which will prove to be beneficial to the college in the years to come.
