Bommarillu

Movie Name: Bommairillu
Cast: Siddharth, Genelia, Prakash raj, Jayasudha ..
My Rating: 4.75

Yesterday after a great hunt for tickets (using one of my girl classmates) I got the tickets in Satyam . The tickets were sold at 150-200Rs in black (For the movie its worth spending that much). The movie started and frankly speaking this movie reminded me of TholiPrema.

Movie story is nice. Its about a overpossessive father and a loving son who cannot even speak against his father (because he loves him). He gets frustrated when his father makes decisions in every part of his life (From buying shirts to selecting his career and of-course his life partner).

Siddharth, a regular passed-out BE student wants two things in his life decided by himself. One is career and the other is his life partner. His father has made a decision till thispoint in his life. Why would he allow these two things. Movie rolls, siddu gets engaged to a girl (who is another father ki beti). He gets vexed, as he cannot oppose in any way. The next day he meets a girl in the temple who is bubbly and talkative (in the temple). The heroines character is nice and bubbly. Whoever was the dubbing artist for Genelia should be applauded. Genelia alo did a nice job.How he convince all, the heroine, his father, his fiancee and the girls father is the story.

I generally try to catch some or the other mistake in the movie, but i cldnt find any in this movie. It is so natural and every character seems to remind you of someone. The obedient son wears his father selected shirts all over the movie (He wears formal shirts all over the movie). The heroines character is the best one i have seen in years in telugu movies.

Screenplay is good, photography is nice . Music is one advantage to the movie. Devi SriPrasad did an awesome job after Aarya.

One statement I could say about the movie : A must-watch.

PS: I would expect this to gross more than Pokiri . Pokiri was a (A) movie and this is not. Dil Raju has to be applauded for his skill of identifying a nice director.
