4 year B.E. course in Information Technology

Information technology department started in CBIT from 2000-01 academic years and is striving for the quality of technical education in the field of IT .the department is well equipped with sufficient hardware and software. The department has sufficient young, dynamic and experienced staff members.

The first batch passed out during 2003-04 with 100% pass percentage .the top rankers in four year degree course among all the branches, is from IT. Some of the IT students are listed in OU top ten rankers . The department students have represented CBIT at university level in various sports. Above 50% of the present final year students and 36 out of 54 of the previous passed out students have got campus placements in various National and Multi-National Companies.

Research activities in the fields of Image Processing , Data Mining , Neural Networks , Mobile Communications etc are in progress.
